On Deck's API

Leverage the On Deck API to receive instant decisions for small business loan applications.

Our API enables partners to integrate their systems directly with On Deck to:
  • Request a pre-qualification from On Deck on behalf of a user or customer
  • See if your customer is a likely fit for an On Deck loan 
  • Get an estimated loan amount and term
  • Submit a loan application on behalf of your clients

How It Works:

  1. Your system posts an XML request to On Deck's web service
  2. Your API user credentials are authenticated
  3. On Deck processes the request and returns a pre-qualified status, loan amount, and term to your application. The responses will also contain a pre-authenticated URL that your client can use to login to On Deck.

Technical Details:

On Deck's APIs are built according to industry standard practices for third-party RESTful web services.

  • Strong validation, authentication & encryption
  • Entry points for requests are sent via HTTP over SSL (all information is encrypted)
  • Requests are made using HTTP POST
  • Responses from On Deck are delivered via XML
