Position: Production Support Engineer

Location: New York, NY

As a Production Support Engineer behind On Deck’s platform, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of our applications and daily processes. You will be required to use available tools and scripting languages in order to respond to end-user support requests and provide timely feedback and resolution to application issues and questions.  You will become an expert in On Deck’s loan servicing platform, aggregation systems and portals.

The Production Support Engineer will also lead the daily reconciliation process to validate On Deck’s servicing platform and internal reporting. You will use your analytical and technical skills to identify discrepancies, make the necessary corrections, and file defects with the quality assurance team.

This role works closely with a small, talented, and friendly team of technology professionals who are creating software that helps small business owners every day.

 
The focus of this role is to:

* Monitor the successful completion of our daily batch jobs.

* Serve as the initial point of contact for internal clients regarding application issues or questions.

* Perform in-depth research and find the root cause of production issues.

* Build and use existing scripts for data correction, data integrity validation and error notifications.

* Provide application support.

* Maintain a sense of ownership of problems and questions until resolved.

* Reconcile multiple funding sources and identify transaction issues.

* Maintain a system wide understanding of all On Deck applications to expedite resolution efforts.

* Communicate with internal clients to provide status of their issues.


QUALIFICATIONS

* At least 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or production support role.

* Ability to prioritize workload, providing timely and accurate resolutions.

* Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

* Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

* Experience creating and executing SQL queries.

* Solid understanding of relational databases, Oracle a plus.

* Knowledge of Windows scripting languages such as Windows shell.

* Detail oriented with a strong sense of problem ownership.

* Ability to proactively anticipate and resolve problems.

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

* Substantial experience using Microsoft Excel, Finance and reconciliation background a plus.

Position: Business Development Associate

Location: New York, NY 

Job Responsibilities: The Business Development Associate will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and executing partnership agreements with distribution partners. He/she will be focused on growing On Deck’s partnerships in targeted verticals such as Medical, Franchises, Merchant Processors, Leasing Companies, Trade Associations, and Business Retailers / Wholesalers.

Specifically, the Associate will:

• Research potential partners in targeted verticals and identify a list of targets that will meet On Deck’s partner criteria.

• Determine and execute on the most appropriate contact strategy including conducting cold calls, sending targeted emails, or attending relevant conferences and tradeshows to collect leads.

• Develop pitch material and coordinate with marketing to develop collateral that highlights the value of partnering with On Deck Capital.

• Respond to solicitations from prospects interested in working with On Deck.

• Execute contractual agreements with prospects to solidify the relationship.

• On-board and train the partner before transitioning the relationship to inside sales for on-going account management.

• Serve as the “go-to” person for these industry verticals within On Deck.

• Support the Business Development Director and On Deck Leadership with content and analysis to support strategic discussions with potential premier partners.

• Coordinate with Product Management, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment on prospecting strategy and deal terms for key partnerships.

• Track and provide reporting on Business Development pipeline activity. Required Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of business experience with prior work in Financial Services preferred.

• 2 years of B2B sales experience encompassing full lifecycle sales from prospecting to close.

• Demonstrated accomplishments in creating new business opportunities and driving revenue.

• Self-starter who is comfortable working in a start-up environment with a high degree of ambiguity.

• Excellent oral & written communications skills.

• Strong business maturity and presence with the ability to interact with C-level management.

• Strong problem solving skills along with analytical prowess.

Position: Assistant to the CEO

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

Assistant to CEO Providing executive level support, this high potential professional will support the company top executives. But this position is not about answering phones and being friendly, your initiative and organizational skills will keep our company executives running at top performance, while your enthusiasm and ideas will shape the environment in which we all work.

We will rely on your passion and ability to maintain a professional presence to successfully perform the following responsibilities:

• Answer phones for CEO and greet visitors

• Coordinate CEO’s calendars and meetings as well as organizational meeting schedules for company; knowing who’s important and how to prioritize meetings

• Performs whatever task necessary to make the CEO more effective

• Follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure proper and timely completion by CEO

• Performs special projects as needed for CEO

• Logistics-travel, reservations, scheduling- coordinating multiple meetings

• Organization- provide documents that were communicated or presented to either partnerships, employees or the board/investors before meeting and keep ongoing documentation

• Maintaining Contacts- prioritization of follow up, understanding whose court the ball is in, making sure that each party has all information needed to make decisions/close deals etc

• Preparedness- research, have background information on person or company before meeting

• Will spend some of the time doing personal tasks for CEO including but not limited to booking dinner reservations, submitting health care reimbursements, expense reports etc

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis in Business and Finance

• Strong skills in Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel along with proficiency in other software packages

• Ability to multi-task and work independently is critical

• Energized by entrepreneurial environment and a less structured workplace

• Strong customer service focus

• Persistent, resilient, organized and detail oriented

Location: Arlington, VA 

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound customer service phone calls

• Staffing the online chat functionality plus responding to general inbox emails

• Administer Global Closure Systems (transfer) accounts

• Loan Payoff activities (Refunds, Payoff letters, Paid-in-full letters)

• Resetting Loan Servicing Platform Username/Passwords for Merchants
