Prior to joining On Deck, Brad Kime was President of a $3 billion dollar Commercial Banking Division of Irwin Financial Corporation. Irwin Financial's Commercial Banking group focused on privately owned businesses with revenues of less than $50 million as its target market. He managed the entire commercial banking operation of the company to include 650 people within the Corporation.This entity was named one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce in 2006 and 2007 under his leadership. Kime has an undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a current Board member of Operation Hope Northeastern Board of Directors, a leading financial literacy group in the country and former Board member of the Indiana Bankers Association and Indiana State Chamber of Commerce.
Noah Breslow has played key management team roles in a number of venture-backed companies. He spent four years as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Tacit Networks, a leading provider of enterprise IT products. Breslow helped steer the company from customer launch through its growth to 110 employees and eventually its successful sale to Packeteer. Breslow's previous roles include Vice President of Engineering at UK-based Kokua Communications, and business development and finance roles at KIRUSA, a wireless infrastructure software supplier. Breslow began his career as a Design Engineer at Teledesic, a commercial broadband satellite company. Breslow holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering from MIT and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
Howard Katzenberg brings a wealth of entrepreneurial and financial services experience to On Deck in areas ranging from vendor management to strategic partnerships and finance. Prior to joining On Deck, Katzenberg spent several years as a consultant specializing in strategy and business development, operational ramp, and fundraising for early to mid-stage companies. Most recently he worked with Swift Financial, a branchless bank focused exclusively on small businesses. In this role, Katzenberg led the design and launch of Swift's innovative remote check deposit product, initiated the partnership program, and assisted in the close of its $20 million Series B financing. Previously at OPEN, the small business division at American Express, Katzenberg led business development initiatives, oversaw all strategic operating relationships and managed the venture capital portfolio. Katzenberg graduated summa cum laude from Cornell and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jorge Sun ran the Small Business Risk Management Group at JP Morgan Chase where he was responsible for credit originations, risk policy, line assignment, and portfolio management activities. His insight and expertise drove the growth of their small business portfolio. He was a board member of the Small Business Financial Exchange, the largest small business credit bureau representing JP Morgan Chase's interests. Previously, Sun also held risk management leadership positions at American Express, most recently as Director of the Consumer Charge Card Portfolio. Sun also held key management positions at Signet Bank and GE Capital. Sun earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Columbia University.
Dario Vergara brings over 15 years of experience developing high volume applications for financial services and retail organizations to On Deck. He spent 7 years as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Online Resources, a leading provider of electronic Billing and Payment solutions. In this role, Vergara was responsible for leading a team of 20 engineers in architecting and developing the company's payment engine and e-commerce suite. Previously, Vergara held senior development roles at Organic Inc., a professional services organization. At Organic, he was involved in the development of web sites for Bloomingdales, Macys and Scotiabank, among others. Vergara holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia and an MBA from Baruch College.
Paul has over 20 years of experience in managing sales for rapidly growing organizations. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Ovation Payroll Services. In this role, Paul grew the company from 200 customers to over 8,000 – landing the company in the Inc. 5,000 three years in a row. Paul has also held various senior management positions including serving as Founder & President of Employer Service Corporation, an outsourced payroll service bureau that was acquired by Advantage Payroll in 2000, and Director of Sales at Integrated Telemanagement. Paul holds an undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
James’ career spans a wide array of leadership experience in the consulting, telecommunications and financial services sector. Most recently, Hobson served as Senior Vice President, Technology Operations for iQor, Inc., a leading private-equity backed global business process outsourcing company. At iQor he helped build a platform for commercializing iQor’s proprietary suite of business applications and provided day-to-day leadership for a global technology team. Furthermore, James built and ran iQor's financial infrastructure team, which drove efficiencies and cost reductions across iQor's global operations. He is also a co-founder of BuyYourFriendADrink.com, which was acquired by LivingSocial in 2009. James holds a BA in economics from Hamilton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was selected as a Baker Scholar.
